A spacious one bedroomed ground floor garden apartment (shard garden with owners). The sitting room has a double bed settee and, if required, there is room in the bedroom for a fold out single bed (provided on request) in addition to the double, plus a travel cot is also available.

I live on site in the main house. I’ve been retired for a while and, aside from looking after the house, my hobbies and interests are photography and painting. I was born and raised in Seaford and although I have lived away from Sussex several times during my working life I have been back in my home town since the mid nineties.

Sandford House is situated in the west of town just off the Seafront - turn left from the house and sea, beach and promenade are straight ahead. There are no parking restrictions around the property or along the seafront. Local shops, a minute’s walk away, include Costcutter, a fish&chip shop and a Chinese takeaway. Newhaven, with ferries every few hours to Dieppe, is 4 miles west. The nearby A259 coast road gives access to regular bus routes to Brighton and Eastbourne. Walk 10 minutes to Seaford station where half hourly trains travel to Brighton with the option to change at Lewes for travel to London or Ashford International Station. We are ideally placed to explore the South Downs National Park with the iconic Seven Sisters cliffs, Cuckmere Valley, Birling Gap and Beachy Head a few miles to the east. The Sussex Downs encompass many small Sussex villages which are accessible by car, bike or, for hikers, on foot. Seaford is a compact town with an interesting history and many Blue Plaque properties - Sandford House being one. The town also offers many cafes, restaurants and pubs in addition to a large supermarket, Co-op and Tesco Xtra.
