The beach and the underwater coral reef there are absolutely beautiful - this is the main attraction, for sure. Diving there was amazing.
I hadn't been to Sinai in over twenty years so I'd kind of forgotten what it's like. The biggest issues were the heat and the water - you can't drink the water in Egypt if you're not Egyptian, so you have to buy bottled water all day long and it's actually not that cheap, at least at the hotels. Other than the beaches and the hotels, there didn't seem to be a lot to see there - I guess you could take tours but we didn't. It's not really a "town" per say, it's more like a string of hotels, resorts, etc. But it's beautiful on the beach and the hotel we stayed at (Nielson Village) was very nice in terms of the view, the service, the room and so on.

The hotel looks impressive from the outside, the rooms are large, the balcony is relatively large, the cleanliness is average, the facilities in the room are outdated, the food in the hotel is not varied enough and there is a crazy fly problem in the place.

Wonderful hotel, great location, just across the border.
Wonderful hotel, great location, just across the border. The pool and the beach are stunning What's so great about this hotel is that despite the fact it was the peak of the high season, and it was fully booked, you did not feel the crowds since the facilities are so spacious. For families with children, the main hotel building seems to be most comfortable, with the best accessibility to the food services and the pool. For a family with 3 children, 2 adjacent rooms were given and it was great. For couples, I would certainly recommend the Nelson village rooms, which give a much more quiet and romantic setting. We had full board - the food was relatively good, the varaiety rich and sufficient. Service is excellent, and the hotel's staff are friendly and helpful. My only comment is regarding the check-in process which could be more efficient. Throughout the process, hotel customers kept asking for the receptionist's help, not waiting in line, and unfortunately, he was attending to them while he was checking us in, thus making our time longer than needed.
To sum it up - certainly a recommended stay and would love to come again!

Taba is a one kilometer fenced area.
Taba is a one kilometer fenced area. If you want to walk on the beach you will be confined to the area of two hotels (Hilton and Movenpick). Any attempt to keep walking outside these two hotels will be prevented by hotel security. Made me feel fenced in and confined.
On the positive side, it is a short walk from the Israeli border which made me feel very safe.
I will probably not come back to Taba because of the small fenced in area. Like to take walks and not just sit on the beach and eat...

The hotel was beautiful, extremly comfortable. The breakfast and the dinner was the Best we have ever taste in Egypt. Our room was great, the cleanless is perfect every time. Special Thanks to Mr. Josuf, the young and intelligent gentleman at the information desk, who was really wanted to make our stay perfect! Everybody was very frendly. Congratulation for the director of the hotel, I think, he is very talented, to get this fantastic team.
This was an extension of my holiday, with additional 5 days on top of the initial booking of one week. The hotel offered excellent service, it was a perfect place to rest, not very crowded. The room was very beautiful and clean, the food was good, the cocktails were amazing and the staff (reception, animation team) was very friendly and supportive. For me, Tolip is definitely a place to come back.
It's a very homey hotel and everyone working there makes sure you are comfortable and are happy to cater to your every need. The staff are very friendly and always available, the food is simple yet delicious. The hotel itself is like walking through an art gallery or high-end crafts market. The bed was exactly the way I like it and the rooms had everything you would need on a trip to Sinai.
This resort is 5 stars for a reason. Everything was wonderful. The food at the Chinese restaurant was delicious. Great view, staff, cleanliness, and swim up bar!
The front desk up graded us to a room with a seaview and it was breathtaking. We could see four countries from our balcony: in Egypt, Isreal and the boarder, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia.
It’s perfect for the surrounding, if you’re looking for the real nature of Taba, they people are very welcoming and helpful, whatever we asked for they did it, they even bought new covers cause we were a little cold. The food is typical Egyptian and more than enough. It’s very cozy and you feel at home.
everything, the food, the pool, the hotel is very big and clean, the room is huge. service is amazing!
i would like to thank especially Islam Darwish, there was an issue with the credit card and he was helping me to feel very welcomed and took really good care about my needs.
Solitude, silence and sandy beach - not a place to party
One of the most friendly and welcoming staff I ever met.
Rich and tasty breakfast and dinner.
The rooms/bathroom/toilets are very clean.
Located 30min drive from the Taba border crossing.
Good value for money.
The hotel is simply amazing, the food is excellent, they hosted us so nicely
They gave us a wonderful feeling always smiling
A personal thank you to Mahmoud Gafar who helped us with everything and even let us check out late. We will definitely come back again
I visit Taba two times a year visiting this hotel. As a family we really enjoy the atmosphere, pools and beach. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help. Its really a joy to stay in this hotel with children where one can really relax.
Overall, I think it’s a good value for money. The resort is extremely beautiful and the pool the Laguna were very nice. The staff is very friendly and responsive. The hotel’s (extra paid) restaurant (El Mar) was good.
A wonderful hotel, right on the border, the staff was courteous and professional, both in the hotel and in the casino, the service was great, and the facilities were excellent. We will definitely be back again soon!
We liked the pools, beach, and hotel activities were nice. the service and the staff were excellent too.
The beach bar provides drinks and snacks, and ice cream, so it was excellent for the children.
If you like all inclusive hotels, this is a very nice one, right on the beach. The staff, especially reception (Mr Abdellatif, Mr Saleh etc.) were super friendly and helpful!
The hotel is very nice and it’s very good for families. The staff are really friendly and’s polite.
My family was very satisfied and in joyed their stay at the hotel.

the only fine part was the dining room. the food was good and the people working there were nice. other then that I don’t have one good word about this hotel.
very tasty food, very quiet place, no one is around. an ideal place for those who want to relax from the big city without the Internet and communication
