Room was fine, but the bathroom was a little small.

Aalborg has a nice and modern city center for shopping, eating out or a walk along the water front. Even cruise ships anchor here. There are several parks and recreational area's with a pleasant atmosphere: The zoo, harbour area, Sauna's with a view over the water and nearby island.
The city is well equiped with cycling track and you should definitly explore the town by bike. The center was not to busy , so enjoy walking around as well.

Very continental European.
Very continental European. The old part of the city has a medieval charm to it. The city was really clean. I think it is perfect for a weekend trip. (For LGBT travellers QBar is definitely the place!)

Nice touristic place to spend a couple of days and use as a stay location for excursions to other locations (especially in the north and west regions). A lot of night clubs, theaters for performances, good restaurants and interesting parks like the music one.

Aalborg is a great town to visit, it has a lot to offer for someone looking for a short city break.
Bars, restaurants, waterfront and multiple cultural things to see is great - and with a 15 min. taxi ride from the airport - this town is a great get-away!

My stay in Aalborg was short, so I saw only few places but the city made a very good and friendly impression. I highly recommend the waterfront area, the Kunsten Museum of Modern Art and Almen Kirkegard ( a beautiful cemetery park).
The staff was very friendly and helpful. There were some miniature ships on display in the lounge, and the hotel seems to have a maritime theme going on. The room had light switches like in normal apartments, which I appreciate, because I didn't need to play around with the door card to get some random lighting like in other hotels that use the card system. In the morning, I heard they had gluten-free options at the restaurant downstairs (but needed to be told in advance, so they could prepare).
Pier 5 is a superb hotel situated right next to the water. Everything we needed was so close by. We walked to the best part of town and we’re able to eat in a quaint restaurant and coffee shop. The receptionist, Selle, was a life saver. She arranged for us to go to our room early, and go to a medical facility on a Saturday for treatment for a fall my husband had on the train. She called us a taxi and we could never have managed all this without her!
Extremely comfortable and modern hotel, in a wonderful location overlooking the waterfront. Large bedroom with good en-suite facilities, comfy bed. Very good breakfast with lots of choice, all very tastefully presented. Lots of comfortable outdoor places to sit. Easy to walk to anywhere in the city. Parking, although you pay extra, was right by the hotel and very easy to arrange via a pay machine.
The location is excellent. The price is the lowest I can find at such a location in the whole Aalborg area. The hotel is close to shopping, restaurants, transportation, and everything else in the city center. It has a very short walking distance to the seaside. The staff is friendly and ready to help 24-7. It is possible to buy drinks and snacks in the lobby (very useful when it is in midnight).
The room was extremely well laid out so it didn't feel small despite being listed as only 8m2. The bathroom was a good size and had a proper window, and the toilet paper could be reached without needing yoga positions. The desk worked well, the bed was comfortable, the room temperature great. The location was perfect, very central in Aalborg and yet the room was quiet (facing the back).
The rooms are cozy and clean. The hotel is located in proximity to the town center, the train and bus station. The guy at the reception desk is very kind, knowledgeable and friendly. The breakfast was good. There's also an interesting exhibition at the hotel. It's worth seeing.
This hotel is located in the city centre of Aalborg. We had a room with a lovely view over the water and the bridge. You can park your car in the parking garage Friis and walk upstairs to the hotel from the garage. You also can get a reduced parking fee (DKK 99,- per day).
Hi Zleep Hotel Aalborg,
Check-in went painless with the automat in the entrance.
You did indeed make our stay comfortable. We did especially like the beds.
We didn't have time for breakfast - so no comments on that.
The staff member in the morning was very friendly.
To be honest there's not a huge amount to be enthusiastic about. I've stayed twice recently after a gap of a few years. Having parking on site is ok but in general the hotel is not congruent with the brand, the hotel is a bit tired
The location next to the airport meant convenient access to transit. The staff couldn't have been any friendlier and went above and beyond during my stay. It was the best hotel of the three I stayed at in Denmark.
Great little hotel in Aalborg. Really good quality facilities, clean and basic. Very close to the city centre and has a lovely lobby area with coffee and snacks. The rate is very affordable too.
The location was excellent for this hotel, right in the center of the town with windows looking to the walking - (party) street. A little noisy on the weekend, but a very positive atmosphere.
The hotel was lovely. I really appreciated being checked in early and the upgrade, thank you! Also the complimentary face mask was a lovely surprise and good quality teas.
