Augsburg is a very elegant and beautiful city. The streets are lined with colorful stylish buildings, most rebuilt to the original plans following one of the heaviest allied bombings in 1944. The church of St Ulrich & Afra is a marvel, as is the Golden Hall in the Rathaus. The unique water system and the Fuggerei social housing complex also make Augsburg stand out in a historical context

Beautiful, clean city, with very interesting architecture.
Beautiful, clean city, with very interesting architecture. It is worth to visit Schaezlerpalais and the house of Leopold Mozart. It is very easy to walk throught the city where you can find everything you need. There is many nice restaurants, where they offer good and tasty food or small caffes for good coffee with a great cake. Our favorite restaurant was Aposto Augsburg.

A really interesting place with beautiful architecture.. but...
A really interesting place with beautiful architecture.. but very busy. We were really interested in the small museum upstairs in St Anna’s church about Luther. It was very informative and well put together. The hotel Jakoberhof was right opposite the Feuggeri - the oldest social housing project in the world which was fascinating. We ate once at Burger meets Falafel which was just round the corner from the hotel.

Augsburg is rich in culture.
Augsburg is rich in culture. All the sightseeing spots are accessible with the street train and by walking. Diverse food culture. The locals were gracious enough to help us with giving us directions etc in English so we were thankful for that.
We’ll go back again in a heartbeat.
The best thing about this hotel is definitely the staff. Everyone was extremely friendly and nice at all times. We checked in after the reception was already closed, but everything was perfectly prepared for our arrival. In the room we were welcomed by a small personalized note on a blackboard on the wall and a complimentary cookie and water. There is a very spacious parking lot available as well. The breakfast was small but very good in terms of quality and freshness of the food.
Very close to main train station. Room was comfortable; breakfast was great. Staff at reception very friendly and helpful. There was some construction going on outside the hotel, and the atmosphere was quite loud outside at night, but I couldn't hear anything from my room. (Granted, my room faced inward toward the courtyard, but it was nice to get a good night's sleep.) Good selection of television channels and good minibar. Nice little desk for working.
It's right across a small street from the famous Fuggerei.
A walkable (for young people) distance from the main square. I even walked to/from the main train station. For the rest there's a tram line 1 (currently a replacement bus B1) to/from the main train station.
The room has a sink, which comes handy for washing you face/teeth.
Quite clean and nice for a hostel. I'd say it's more of a hotel except the WC and bathroom are shared.
A link in a modern chain of hotels. Spacious parking, impression of freedom of movement. Oil station, pizzeria, market next to it. Up-to-date outfits and cyber security. Easy access to the old city with its cathedral, which is not empty architecture but still the site of church service, the town-hall open to visitation and the picturesque Sunday fairs.
The minute you walk into this hotel you can’t help to notice how clean and lovely it is. The staff are very friendly and professional and always willing to help. There is ample parking as the hotel has a car park in the back, and our room was large complete with a small balcony on the back.
The opportunity to be able to enter the hotel whenever it was necessary, even in the middle of night or very early morning. Great place to stay at if you want to have some fun in Augsburg!!!!! Recommended 100% but remember that it's a hotel there you can sleep after night out!
Location was nice. The hotel offers yoga mats and clothing irons should you need them. Be sure to ask the friendly staff.
There are some facilities which I would have liked to check out, such as a fireplace communal room, but I couldn't fit into my schedule.
Loved this place - one of the cleanest hotels I have ever been to and it's in such a nice location. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. I don't think I have ever stayed at a hotel this nice for such a low price. I would definitely return!
Wonderful elegant hotel with very impressive management, concerned for the well-being of the guests, finding time to speak to all of them.
Will definitely return when in Bavaria. Good option for easy journey or commute to Munich.
Breakfast was very good. I liked this hotel best because of its location so close to the train station, it was very clean, the room very comfortable and the staff very responsive. The hotel is very affordable.
The hotel room is very clean, there is a coffee machine with coffee and tea and a small fridge at your disposal. It is also very nice that they offer you a free bottle of water.
Very nice hotel. Room was perfect and modern. Nice bar area and a good restaurant. Easy parking facilities. Very good knowledge of English and very kind staff.
Breakfast was perfect. The Hotel located 3 min from main square. Personal was very polite. Not the first time stay in this hotel. For big grope its perfect
