Not only the hotel, the lady who was waiting for us was so lovely, attentive and friendly that she made us forget for a moment that all our trains back home (Tilburg) had been cancelled. The room was perfect and super comfortable, the bathroom even had hand cream! When we woke up, we were treated with the same attention and friendliness. The people of this city are super friendly! We appreciate all the treatment of this curious and kind place.

The location is easy to find by car, and there's a nice wide parking (no chargers for EVs though). A cheap supermarket is just 5 min away on foot. The room was clean, with everything you needed: comfy beds, a kitchenette, and all the dishes/pans/glasses. There were even free slippers included. I also liked that the hotel has digital locks, so no need to carry keys - you just need to remember the code and that's it.IvanNetherlands

The building is historical, with a lot of charm and a mesmerizing water wheel visible from the dining room. The restaurant was of good quality, and the employees friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast abs the staff was extremely nice and helpful. The hotel had smart thought about how to cope with COVID like contactless key transfer and payments.

The rooms are comfy and nicely organized and comfy style. I read about noise complaints but dis not experience it myself. It was plenty quiet on the road side with the window open.
