My family and I were eager to explore Cochen and booked an apartment for our stay. From the moment we arrived, we realized the apartment lived up to all our expectations and what was promised in the description. We were greeted with a spotlessly clean and tidy place, which made us feel comfortable right away.
What really stood out was the exceptional attention we received from the owners. They were attentive to any needs we had and made us feel at home. Finding a place like this not only met but exceeded our expectations and brought us great joy during our stay.
We are sure to return as soon as possible. This apartment has become our favorite place to stay in Cochen.

Cochem in the summer is lovely and vibrant with plenty to do and see.
We went for the Christmas market and found it very quiet and the market itself was very small. The town is a lot quieter in the winter months.

Cochem is a great place to visit.
Cochem is a great place to visit. Take the river cruise through the lock for 3 hour tour you won't regret it. The castle tour is nice thing to do. Take the bus up to castle because walking up hills is not worth the few Euros it costs for the bus. Great food choices.

All the write ups for the town seemed interesting & a location near the river. Parking was consistently a problem in most areas and restaurant food was average at best. Went to a lovely restaurant, 8k away in Belstrain & both food & wine recommended were exceptional.
Used our car for transportation. There was a local bus station & train within town limits, so car wasn't necessary here.
Seemed to have a # of stores for tourist items but not much else.Lots of cyclists

Definitely worth a visit, castle and a boat trip recommended. But beware of some....not so nice places to eat near waterfront, recommend to read the reviews, since some food is more like fastfood and not really traditional, borderline of nasty.

This is a lovely old town on the Mosel river.
This is a lovely old town on the Mosel river. The town revolves around wine - growing it, making it and selling it. It is a little bit commercial but has so many options of what to do that it is well worth 1-2 days. Cycling, walking, sampling the local fare, boat trips ( 1/2 day, day trips, trips downriver to Koblenz or upriver to Traben Trabach), dining, visiting vineyards etc. It is easy to get to by Train or by boat. I cycled from Traben Trabach and had a lovely relaxed cycle by the Mosel and then joined the Rhine in Koblenz to continue to Koln
The location of the Hotel Osteria Del Vino in Cochem was excellent. Close enough to the train station and close to the center of town but slightly up the street so it was quiet. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. I felt a bit like I was staying in the house of a friend. It was cozy and at the same time I had a nicely decorated large room. The bathroom was very upgraded and clean. The breakfast was fantastic!!
Location was very close to the town centre and a small walk to all the main restaurants and shops, also provided with private parking behind the hotel. Staff was great and having a sit down under the shade of the grapevines on a sunny day, drinking their wines was a highlight, we would definitely come back for a winecarousel tasting! The room had everything we needed and was nice to relax in after a day of exploring Cochem.
There are many choice of food for breakfast and the landlord take good care of every customers. The room is very clean and well maintained. The rooms with balcony have great view of the Mosel and the Cochem castle, especially the corner room #3. There are plenty of space for parking. After a day of visits you can enjoy a beer and snack (curry wurst, hamburger, ...) in the hotel garden (close at 6PM)
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly. The room was clean spacious and comfortable with a lovely shower room and balcony. The breakfast was excellent. Also we were given the use of their garage for our motorbikes free of charge. The hotel overlooked the river Mosel which made for a pleasant walk to the bars restaurants and shops. We would definitely stay here again.
The hotel is extremely centrally located in Cochem and you can park on a meter outside to unload etc. The restaurant was good but probably over priced. Its probably worth getting a room with a balcony on the front although the sun drops behind the hotel so its not an evening location. There is good access to all local facilities and given its central location its quiet.
This apartment was amazing with views of the Moselle from every room and a 5 minute walk to the center of town. In addition, the path to the castle is just steps from the front door. The location was second to none plus it was spacious and clean. We had a wonderful stay.
Private, secure, family-owned and operated. Breakfast was very good, with 2 seatings by reservation. Excellent service by property owners. Appreciated required wearing of masks in public spaces in hotel. Views from hotel and proximity to venues of interest were first class.
Everything was as expected and as described! the owner Aleksander went out of his way to help! it is a good walk from the train station but worth it! I ate at the restaurant he suggested and it was wonderful. The key box is very smart! friendly helpful Cochem!
Good size bedroom and bathroom and lovely view of the Mosel River, town and castle. Restaurant food very good and staff helpful - enjoyed our stay and ideally located to explore the Mosel Valley with the added benefits of being in Cochem.
Perfect little place. 2 rooms together in a Great location and the inclusive breakfast was great! Very helpful staff/owner who gave us a parking permit also. We loved Cochem and this fabulous hotel made it even better. 😊
The Hotel itself was very good, room excellent. Parking place is in a few hundred metets and second evening parking place was full.. But after a time we found another parking place.
This is NOT a hotel..it is a guesthouse/B&B.
On the positive side the 'staff' were fine and the breakfast room is quite tasteful albeit gets crowded and a bit stressful
It is in the heart of beautiful Cochem and a comfortable stay. The breakfast was exceptional and the room comfortable and clean. We highly recommend to future guests
