Amazing property. Very clean and spacious and well equipped kitchen. The outdoor space is incredible. We loved eating meals outside under the shade of the umbrellas and the swimming pool was perfect for our kids (4 & 6). There is also a terraced garden that was amazing for hide and seek and the view from the balcony is stunning with uninterrupted views of the sea and sunrise. Staff were extremely attentive and friendly when we needed anything. We would love to return one day! The location was great. It is about a 10minite walk to the village shops for fresh bread and a small supermarket, some restaurants and a lovely kids playground. Walking 10 minutes in the other direction, there is a cafe and cable care down to a pebble beach.

The villa is even more beautiful than the pictures! it has everything you could want, BBQ, pool, games room, smart TV and beautiful kitchen. A supermarket is only a couple minutes walk away too.

Nice rental, modern and cosy. Approx. 20-30 minutes walk from old town and center of Funchal. Going back is more tricky as you go up steep hills:) We rather took the bus back (10 minutes from center with many bus options) or sometimes ordered Bolt. Safe and peaceful neighborhood, mini market and bakery just around the corner. Host was very helpful with everything.

The Goat’s place is a paradisiac house with a stunning view on the ocean and plenty of light coming in. The hosts are the best you could ask for, we felt at home from the first moment Antonio welcomed us and already miss the place! In the morning you will find homemade bread or delicious banana cake, eggs from the chicken in the garden and local fruits. There is a jacuzzi in the terrace that is the perfect treat to end the day after all the trekking in the island. The bed is super comfortable and the house is perfectly clean. We couldn’t ask for more, obrigada Antonio e Jorge, hope to see you soon!

The rooftop patio had breathtaking views and was equipped with a working grill. The house was clean and well equipped. There is a huge loft upstairs which made it nice for the children to stay. Communication was excellent, and the host was quick to provide a response. The house gave off a vibe of staying at the grandparents' house, which, in truth, made you feel at home.
