Featuring 1-star accommodation, Guest House EBISAN is set in Furano, 21 km from Furano Station and 22 km from Windy Garden. The host is an absolute gem of a man! He provided tips & tricks, printed ski resort information to us when we got down for breakfast. Breakfast each morning was eggs and bacon, provided with a pan where you could fry them yourselves. He gave us a bottle of sake as a present when we had dinner, and even sat with us during our meal, sharing stories.

Toyako Guest House Ponkotan is situated in Lake Toya, in the Toyako Onsen district. With free WiFi, this 1-star hostel offers a shared kitchen and a shared lounge. I don’t often write reviews but my stay in this hostel just needs one. I stayed here for only one night on my trip trough Hokkaido and it was just amazing. The accommodation is clean and cozy and the beds are soo comfortable. But the best: the hosts. They were so kind and helped me with all my questions. English conversation is also possible! :-) Since it was heavily raining on the morning I left, the offered me a drive to the bus station. Thank you so much, Keiko-san, arigato gosaimasu.

O`popo is within a quick walk of the Canal distrcit of Otaru. More than that, the hotel is more like staying in a guest room at someone`s house and very cozy.

Shimpei-san and his friend are wonderful. Upon arrival, they offer to help carry my bag up the stairs. And when they see me not wearing enough layers for the cold weather, they very kindly lend me a jacket/windbreaker for the duration of my stays which I am very grateful for :) shimpei-san speaks excellent English and I enjoy being able to talk to him without having to use translator. 2. Quiet and peaceful. Well maintained and kept very clean. 3. Value for money. Very reasonable price for private room. Although the toilet and shower is shared, I never have to wait to use it during my stay. Towel is provided without charge, and you can get a fresh one if you want to as well. Power point in the room is located near the bed. The sliding door to the room closed with very minimum noise. 4. First place I stayed where sanitary pad is provided in women's toilet. A very thoughtful and unexpected amenity.

Boasting quiet street views, Santari features accommodation with a garden, around 35 km from Lake Shikaribetsu. The property has mountain and garden views, and is 41 km from Obihiro Station. It is a place that provides a wonderful experience. The host is polite and patient. Peaceful and I promise that if I have the opportunity I will come back and stay here again.

Shabby House is a 60-year old traditional Japanese home that is situated in Sapporo. Nishisenjuyojo Station is a 3-minute walk away from the property. the owner picked us up at the station. and took us to the station when we will leave sapporo. We were prepared vegan food. the food is so delicious! the service is 100! 💯Hospitality 💯!!

Surrounded by serene pasture and vegetable fields, Pension Megumiyuki is situated just a 4-minute drive from Biei Station. We had a great stay! The hosts are really friendly and gave tips about walking routes and onsen. The breakfast is served with a lot of love. The guesthouse has everything you need and is close to the Biei blue pond and Daisetsuzan National Park. There are supermarkets and restaurants nearby. It is best to rent a car. I can only recommend this guesthouse!!
