Great communication from the hosts; very helpful with our luggage, great suggestions for dining options, friendly and welcoming. Excellent location, easy to get to the places we wanted to visit. Very clean house, equipped with all that we needed for our stay.

Perfect location for getting to bamboo forest, monkey park, bridge, kimono forest and temple. So helpful with check in. Had laundry and fridge I used.

Service from staff was excellent. We arrived at 7am and Kenji was able to support us by holding our bags and putting them in the apartment when possible. The photos do not do this little apartment justice. The beds were comfy, and the place itself was very cosy and we felt completely at home especially with the provision of a bath! The place was also very clean with plenty of space to put our bags in one room while we slept in the other! Wi-fi was also excellent. It was also possible to leave our bags at the accommodation after checkout until we needed to leave later that day. Location was excellent. Just a 2 minute walk to the JR Station and about a 15 minute walk to the Bamboo Grove for an early morning photography session without the hoards of tourists that start to arrive from 7am onwards! The area of Arashiyama was beautiful, plenty of grocery shops and places of natural beauty to walk. Also many temples within walking distance (we loved the moss garden of Gio-ji).
