Clean and neat bathroom with shampoo body wash etc. ( Found good body lotion for myself there 😜) New linen for beds and clean towels, pool towels. Swimming pool with comfy beach beds. Night lights 🔥. Outside open pavillion. ( It was the best place I found, took our dinner and watched movies there with lights around ❤️) Very nice breakfast. (They asked us for western food or local one. Of course western one. We loved it 😍)

Situated just 2 km from Jungle Beach, Monara Backpacker Inn Unawatuna features accommodation in Unawatuna with access to massage services, a garden, as well as a 24-hour front desk. This place was just perfect. Simple room, but very clean, confortable bed, AC working great, good hot shower. The location is very close to Unawatuna train station, which is very quiet and away from the crowds. But the best is the hosts: an amazing family, that did everything to make us feel like home!

I loved this place, it was the perfect spot for me as a digital nomad and solo traveler. Especially good if you’re staying long lengths of time as it feels very homely and has a kitchen. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and make you feel at home. The rooftop view is amazing especially for sunrise. Rooms were clean. They also cooked a lovely dinner as a gift to one of their long term guests and we were all invited to join it was super nice.

Sorry for this much attention to the food, but this is the first time when I eat breakfast and stay full all day🤍 - the view on the ocean -the location (close to the beach where you can swim) - once again, the family who accepted us was just as they were my family. They helped us with everything, accepted us earlier, helped us with the transport
