Sehr schönes familiäres Hotel mit wunderschönem Ausblick
Take a side trip to visit Kourtaliotiko Gorge. There is a trail in the gorge, but we didn't have time for that. So we stopped along the road above and followed the path passed the Church of Saint Nicholas down to a beautiful view of the waterfall.

Quiet place in November, but sea temperature was super nice.
Quiet place in November, but sea temperature was super nice. Supermarkets are open, as well as some restaurants. There was a lot of construction going on. Many tavernas close to attractions are closed, so take plenty of snacks.

Plakias is a good place to have a rest moving from Imbras Gorge to Kourtaliotiko gorge, city is small and quite. Beaches in city itself not seems are extraordinary, they have many rocks, but on the left end is there a nudist beach

Plakias has a nice village feel with nice beach's and plenty of tavernas, supermarket's, bakers and butchers, all within easy walking distance. We found the food at Antoni's Place was excellent and staff very helpful.

Plakias is a smallish town and very laid back and relaxing.
Plakias is a smallish town and very laid back and relaxing. As we were half board we didn't try many of the bars/restaurants on offer. We were going to go on a boat trip but one of our daughters was ill so we had to abandon that idea. My other daughter and I did visit Kourtaliotiko Gorge and waterfall which was amazing and we made it to Souda beach on the last day which had lovely clear water. We had a car so we could travel around. I personally think that is an essential if you want to explore the area as it takes a while to drive anywhere as the roads are quite small and bendy!

Place has amazing location, but do not expect night life,...
Place has amazing location, but do not expect night life, for that you have to go to Plakias, Damnoni (across the rock, great views) or drive to Rethymnon. Service and meals are great, staff very kind, willing and helpful, always aiming to help, direct, support. Swimming in private pools or in purely clean sea with private beach (no sand, rocky beach, but you can jump from very high cliffs). Hotel also invites oriental dancers, who were just excellent and greek dancers. Someone says - rooms are shubby, but everything is made from solid wood, comfy, only bathrooms a bit small, but sufficient. Place suits to all types of travellers- you want to rest, doing nothing, you can. You want to travel around, you can even go to Santorini by jetboat. We recomment the place definitely.
George the owner was extremely friendly and helpful and welcomed us when we arrived. George explained us how to operate the different facilities and provided us with nice refreshments. Pantelis the contact person for the reservation was helpful, gentle and kind. Both are extremely helpful and friendly.
We stayed in villa Toulipa. Increteblue is a complex of several accommodations some offering pools and some offering Jacuzzi's. The location is very good, close to the beach and all the stores but relatively quiet and peaceful.
Excellent location, very quiet regardless being right in front of the beach. A very well built house.
Very comfortable beds and pillows. The air conditioning was perfect, subtle but efficient and not noisy. The outside temperature reached 40 degrees on two days and the system worked perfectly.
I also liked the total darkness in the rooms, thanks to the good quality blackout blinds on all windows.
The garden furniture were very comfortable and well placed, providing shade in the morning and in the late afternoon.
Friendly people and accommodating. Lots of books that people left. I asked if anyone left an umbrella and the manager said "here" and handed me a new one to use..but it was the end of the season. Decent line to dry clothes on the balcony. Really in the center of the town and night life and beach but set back a little so it's quiet. Map on booking does not show that there is a walking cut-through right to the main Cafe and beach street
The host is super friendly, and always there. Location is hard to beat, in the very center of Plakias. If you are there for partying in Plakias or for excursions, this lace is great. Plenty of parking space around.
It is not a 5* hotel, but a charming (in a simple way) place to spend the nights.
If you are there for the beach, this is probably not a place for you - although the beach is very close, it is on the other side of the road.
We have visited Plakias many times over the past 35 years. This is without doubt the best accommodation we have stayed in.
Very well designed and high quality finishes. Very good bed, shower and fast and reliable Wi-Fi .
Great breakfast of local produce, excellent coffee.
Very helpful staff. I left my shirts in a hotel in Chania. They liaised with that hotel to get them delivered to Plakias!!
Everything about the property was just amazing!
Yiorgos, the host, was extremely welcoming and made us feel like home.
I cannot recommend the Increteblue Suites enough!
We will definitely be coming back as we had a fantastic and relaxing time.
The suite was meticulously clean, the pool was cleaned every day and honestly I can’t think of a single negative thing to say.
Thank you Yiorgo!!!!
The Villa Alea is situated very central in Plakiás and you can easily walk to everything in the town. The host Xaroúla is the most kind and helpsome host you can find, and if you need anything you just have to ask. We have been to Plakiás many, many times and stayed at different accommodations around the town but this is the best in all Crete and we will be back another time
It is perfectly clean place, with very nice and comfourtable rooms. Breakfast is excellent and there are lots of different and very interesting things to try. "Garden view" isn't that great and the pool isn't in the Sofia hotel, but in the other one, which is near. However, who needs pool, when you have such a beautiful sea and wonderfull beaches nearby :)
We had a wonderful time during our stay at Cyano Hotel. We arrived very late (after hours of check-in) but the staff waited for us with a cold plate full of Greek snacks. During our stay, we felt very good and well taken care of. The hotel and our room were very clean. For sure we want to come back to this hotel in the future, we had an amazing time.
Beautiful location at the end of Plakias beach. Quiet location with the main area for restaurants and shops just a quick walk or drive away. Hotel was modern, brand new and very clean. 30 second walk to the beach, this was also the best side of Plakias beach with no rocks and less crowds. Really enjoyed our stay here, thank you!
Absolutely beautiful view of the sea and very conveniently located next to the beach and within walking distance to shops, grocery stores, and restaurants. The rooms are spacious and clean. Kostas was so very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. We would love to return and stay at Atlantis again!
Chara went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and unforgettable. Breakfast was amazing, rooms were good size and extremely clean and bedsheets smelled amazing. The views were great and Plakias is a very short walk. Can't wait to go back
Fantastic location overlooking the sea with great sun terrace and unforgettable sunsets. By far, my most comfortable and luxurious room in Crete. Beach in front, tavernas, cafes, etc all closeby. Breakfast area and terrace and extremely friendly hosts.
Small and cosy hotel. Room comfortably furnished and meticulously designed. Nice and very clean pool. Very good breakfast served on the terrace next to the room. Long, beautiful beach in Plakias, tavernas and restaurant are only fiew steps away.
Elsa was extremely friendly and helpful. The room had been recently renovated and was very clean and comfy. All in all, it was the best accomodation during our time on Crete!
A very comfortable hotel, perfectly situated in Plakias for shops & restaurants. The beach across the road. Staff were friendly helpful & professional .
Very good breakfast
