Easy to walk around, plenty of shops for tourists and a range of supermarkets. Big ones on the main road into Rhodes Town.

In general a very pleasant town with extremely nice and helpful locals. Great restaurants (Bikini was our favorit), nice beaches and well located to travel to other places.
Only down side was public transportation. Use that only to go to Rhodes town and when you are not in a hurry. For travelling to different places during the day, rent a car (we used Superior)

Ialyssos is one of the three ancient locations in the island of Rodos that were inhabited in the prehistoric time, some 3500 years ago. At some point it had 30 houses, which gave Ialyssos its ancient original name Trianda. Ialyssos has some of the best hotels in Rodos for families with children that are looking for the beach and swimming pool experience but still want to be within reach of the city and its historical surroundings.
There's enough shops and restaurants in Ialyssos to find what you need, but typically you would visit the Rodos city center at least once to see the famous medieval old town - the only surviving medieval city center in the world with original medieval buildings still in use - and find more services. It's quite easy to reach the Rodos city center via public transport. The city center is too far to walk to but you can ride a bicycle to the city in about 30 minutes.

Lalysos is a short distance from the airport and also a short distance from the city. It can be said that there is also most of what you need to stay there. However, you can clearly see the decline of local services. Shops and restaurants have been closed. Many houses are half finished.

Very central to all amenities, beach is a short walk, bus stop just outside hotel to get into Rhodes town, lots of cafes and restaurants, a very short walk is the Choronis Restaurant at Perla Marina hotel is excellent the food is done to perfection one of the best restaurants on the island, Easy walking distance is Lalyssos village with all the shops, cafe's and bars, as you walk towards Lalyssos is the Alpha bank with ATM which gives you the best rates other ATMs dont give a good rate, there are Alpha banks in Rhodes town as well. Rhodes town is next to the marina where you can get day trips to other islands and to Marmaris Turkey,
This is a really well equipped, modern villa. The pool area is fabulous and the addition of table tennis was welcomed by the teens. Rhodes Villas looked after us really well reacting quickly if needed (like replacing the bbq gas bottle). The villa is about a 15 minute walk to the pebbly beach and many tavernas. There is a bus service into Rhodes town and many taxis to help get around.
My husband and I ordered a garden view room because it had a lower price and we got a sea view, which is a big plus. Room very large - bedroom and living room with kitchenette, bathroom of course. Delicious food in the restaurant, nice evening animation, well equipped bar, super pools and the hotel right on the beach, numerous restaurants and shops in the vicinity of the hotel.
This family run hotel was amazing to stay in. Its located 5 min walk to the beach. It also has a nice pool if you wanna stay and relax for the day. The staff was super friendly, and helped with tips, ordering taxi and anything else we needed. The breakfast is a la carte, and you can choose from several dishes with eggs or yogurt, including dairy free options.
A cozy and clean house that has almost everything you need for a comfortable stay. A well-equipped kitchen with good plates, pans and saucepans. The bed is comfortable and the view from the balcony is very nice. Private parking. Great location - a ten minutes' drive to Rhodes Town with lots of tasty restaurants and awesome attractions.
Swimming pool is cool, food is ok (although i didn't have breakfast included, just ordered few meals).
Location is not bad - shops and restaurants are close, beach also not that far. Getting to Rhodes Town without own transport is a problem though - buses are often full and don't take more passengers, and taxis are quite expensive.
the pool and the greek restaurante in the hotel were very nice ! For the hrek restaurant you nees to make a reservation in the reseption but its included in the "all inclusive" . recomend it !

Manilos and Maria were fantastic hosts. The property was ideal as a base for travelling around. In a side street just 5 minutes walk from beach, shops and taverna's. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Ground floor rooms have a small courtyard upper rooms a balcony. There's a garden as well if you prefer.
Nice apartment also with a washing machine available, useful for families with kids. There are some trees at the pebbly beach which was nice because of shadow during hot sunny days.
There is a bus stop 5 minutes from the apartment (line Airport-Rhodes) and a supermarket nearby (7 mins walk).
location is seafront , quite , near kitesurfing spot, it is very comfortable in rhodes to stay in all inclusive hotel . it has beautiful blue flag beach. it has scheculed bus transfer to old town everyday but it is extra. it has spa but over rated. Asian a la carte restaurant is great.
An amazing, spacious and bright apartment in Rhodes, walking distance to the beach. The host was very friendly and happy to assist us with anything at any time. We even got home made Galaktoboureko by Toula, which was delicious. We highly recommend this stay.
Thanks to the personal of the hotel, this trip is literally the best trip that I’ve done in my life. Everything was perfect and I can’t wait to come to Rhodes again and guess what? I’ll definitely book the same hotel❤️
