The ski resort is excellent. A large number of slopes of all levels. Possibility to ski through up to 5 valleys. The slopes are good groomed.
The cable cars had a sufficiently large capacity - queues only formed at the cable car connecting the valleys, but for a maximum of 5 minutes.

Flachau was nice quiet and cosy for now.
Flachau was nice quiet and cosy for now. I am sure that next month it will be more crowded since the saison starts in December. The apartment was excellent. The only thing that was missing was the hand soap in the bathrooms blinds from the windows in the bedrooms and an extra pair of towels or bed sheets.

Big and nice skiing area with many lifts and slopes for all. We often visited restaurant Unterbergalm and herzeralm which I can recommend. There are many places to eat and have fun on the slopes. It is well worth to visit Erlebnis Therme in Altenmarkt just few kilometers from Flachau.

Small, quiet village, the home of the legendary downhill skier Herman Meier, with a bank, small supermarket and bakery, approximately 1.25 hour’s car drive (traffic allowing) from Salzburg airport. A number of restaurants and central ski lift (‘Spacejet 1’) taking you up the mountain with good connecting lifts. Most runs are red so perhaps not the best for the nervous beginner. The village has a good ski bus connection and at least one of the ski rental shops right by the lift allows you to leave skis and boots overnight so you don’t have to carry them to and from your accommodation. I skied at the end of Feb 2023 and there was plenty of snow and sun on the slopes.

We booked a 3 rooms apartment with a fully equipped kitchen and 3 bedrooms with a full bathroom each, a balcony with a great view to the mountains and the garden - it is really a great and spacious apartment. Free parking right close to the entrance. Super accommodation!

Karin and Christian’s hospitality was just perfect. it felt that they have thought about every little detail which made our stay so comfortable and cosy. They are really very caring and were so helpful whenever we asked for their help or advice about attractions for the kids etc.

Villa 7 is a wonderful place to stay.
Gerda & Daniel (the owners) are great hosts, they are friendly, generous and truly care for the guests.
We were in Villa 7 for over a week and it was a blast!
Breakfast is exceptionally good, ask for Daniel's omlet it's the best you will ever taste.
The rooms are big and spotless clean.
The location is a short drive from near by attractions and the parking at the Villa is free!

A nice and comfortable place to stay in. The matraces were on the harder side, but it is a matter of individual preference. You can get the key to the room in another hotel which is located on the main road of Flachau and not right next to Sunside. There is always someone there to give you the key and help out if needed. We could also use the sauna in the hotel which was nice. Also, there are no bikes available at Sunside; you may rent them in the hotel or other local bike shops.
We visited this hotel with children and I can highly recommend. Kids enjoyed indoor and outdoor pools, a playground and animal watching on the farm. The staff was very helpful. The apartment was spacious, kitchen well equipped, beds comfortable. We were there during the slow season in june and it was the best decision. Flachau and the surrounding area are rich in experiences, we will be happy to return next year.
One of the best experiences I ever had. The accommodation is clean, spacious, modern yet in a traditional Austrian house. The staff is the kindest, so nice and professional. I really felt like at home. And the food. The best of all. We liked every single meal. Surely coming back here! ♥️

The nature comes as a bonus. We were here during late summer and it was truly beautiful.
We picked up the keys at a nearby hotel. And everyone got a little chocolate candy. It was nice. The accommodation was great. Beautifully and modernly furnished. Sophisticated details. Spacious shower. We lived on the ground floor and after skiing we could still enjoy the sun on the terrace. A bonus was the common room with a ping pong table.
My family came to enjoy the beauty that G-d has bestowed on Austria, and we truly did.
The chalets were located in a nice, quiet corner of Flachau. The chalet was very clean, well-organized, and spacious. There was a private backyard, which was a nice place to relax in the open air. Because it was off the main road, it was very quiet, too.
Hotel located just steps from ski bus and this is the perfect arrangement for Flachau area. At the same time walking distance from town center. Breakfast was very good and offered everything needed. Ski depository offers space and safety. Very nice spa. The personnel is friendly and kinda laidback.
