The place is idyllic: it's quite far from restaurants and stuff, but the secludeness of the place is what makes it so incredible. The cabins are very cute with a nice terrace. Facilities are okay: it's fine but not luxurious. There are lots of insects on Ometepe, so also at Rosa's Lake Cabins. I recommend renting a motorbike, because buses aren't frequent. The family is very helpful in many ways: recommending restaurants, arranging tours etc. They can also do your laundry. All in all, really a fantastic stay if you want to go off the beaten track!

Ananda Guest house is located on the slopes of the Maderas Volcano on Ometepe Island, 19 mi from the port of Moyogalpa. Loved this beautiful, secluded little guest house. Amazing views, wonderful staff and pets to keep you company.

Beach huts are clean, comfortable and cozy. The lake is on your doorstep with views of the volcano to your right and a great sunset bar to your left. An island paradise with lovely dogs, chickens, a cat, ducks along with a friendly and helpful owner. Scooter access is 100% okay! There is a restaurant next door but if you want to go to others it’s a close 10min drive. Look no further and stay here!

Objekat Hostal Así es mi Tierra, koji se nalazi u gradu Balgue, na 12 km od znamenitosti Vulkan Maderas, nudi smeštaj sa vrtom, besplatnim privatnim parkingom i terasom. Charmingly decorated property with a lot of greenery. We had a lovely private cabin with a comfortable bed and a nice shower. Lots of friendly animals on site. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The quiet location and the viewpoint/lookout platform overlooking a banana plantation and Maderas Volcano in the bsckground. Tatiana and her staff were also very accomodating and helpful. No complaints!

I left two pouches with my passport, money, and everything important I was traveling with at the Guest House Nena when I departed to take a ferry back to San Jorge. I had no idea I had left them! They were under a sheet on the bed that I had inadvertently covered them with. After the people at the Guesthouse found my pouches and their valuable contents, they looked around for me, and the young lady from the Nena eventually ended up boarding ferry before we left and asked for me. Fortunately, she found me. I thanked her profusely and gave her a hug. I was extremely happy and grateful to have my stuff and to have adverted a semi-disaster. I owe that girl and the Guest House Nena in Moyogalpa….
