Excellent location - minutes walk to everything in Brixham. Everything was so well thought out in the Room & Guesthouse. There were hooks where needed, handy shelves, even a clock in my room. I had the bunk room, which I thought might be difficult for a lady of a certain age, but I loved it, it was such an adventure and the bedding was so cosy. Great choices for breakfast and such a good idea for the guests to put their request in the night before as well as time preference. All the breakfasts were exceptional ( I had the fry and salmon & eggs) but the pancakes were Divine!! I really enjoyed being out in the garden after touring or while waiting for my taxi. It was such a plus. Since my room was the smallest the owner Pip advised that I could use the little front lounge if I wanted, but I was so happy in own 'playroom' that I didn't need it. I would like to try the Nautical Room sometime for the beautiful seaview.

This family run guest house is set in its own grounds and is ideal for touring the area and enjoying the coastal walks that take in some of Devon's best scenery.

The hotel has a lounge bar, a large garden, and ample forecourt parking with space for trailers.

Pauline and Steve made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. There was a pot of tea and delicious slice of cake served on the patio outside. The location is good for Paignton, Brixham and nearby beaches. They've only been running for one year and have completely refurbished throughout. The rooms and decor are beautifully finished all with an expert level of care. We loved the honesty bar both the way it looked and the range of drinks available. Breakfast was very good with daily specials. We also ate at the nearby Railway Inn and our favourite was the Manor Inn in nearby Galmpton village which was an easy walk away. We hope to return again soon.
