We absolutely loved our weekend stay here! Kenneth and his wife are so sweet. Kenneth took his time to show us everything and even told us the best places to go. They have a beautiful garden of all sorts of flowers. The animals are lovely as well. It felt like our home away from home. Everything you need is there for you. We enjoyed the quiet nights looking at the beautiful sky seeing so many stars that you definitely can’t see in the city. We truly enjoyed staying here and recommend it to anyone who visits the area!

Boasting a garden and views of inner courtyard, Havehøjegaard is an apartment set in a historic building in Borre, 8.5 km from Cliffs of Møn. The location is great to explore Mons Island. And the host is very helpful, he provides lots of information about the island, where to go, and what to do. There is a big garden in front of the apartment, lots of green around you and very quiet. The ideal place to relax and get away from all the city noises.

We very much enjoyed our one-night stay in Stege. Though no hotel staff was present to check us in, (perhaps since we were visiting during the off-season), we found our key easily and entered our room without issue. The room itself was cozy and clean, with a nice shower and everything necessary to be comfortable. Best of all, our room was located right off the shared kitchen area (wonderfully equipped with everything needed to prepare a simple meal) and we saw no other guests so we had everything to ourselves. The kitchen and dining space were tidy, modern, and spotless. I imagine that during the summer “high” season, however, it may be a bit noisy to have a room next to this particular area of the hotel.
