Matatagpuan sa Madalena sa Azores region at 15 km mula sa Pico Airport, ang Vinhas do Calhau ay nagtatampok ng accommodation na may libreng WiFi, playground ng mga bata, hardin, at libreng private... The staff is wonderful. First, they helped us book a rental car after our plans fell through even though we were unable to find any available cars on the island. Also, our luggage was left behind by the airline and then delivered to the hotel after we had already left. Ana works reception at the hotel and called me to let me know so I could work with the airline to get it picked up and sent to our current island. Then Ana also called us when the bags were picked up. This was imperative because the airline made no attempt to let us know they had our bags. Ana told me the flight time from Pico to the island we were on and so we stopped by the airport and found our bags. They were separated away from the bags being delivered that day and had not been entered into the system. It took 5 days to get our bags and it would have been longer if not for Ana. We are so grateful for everyone there. Also the room was spacious with a great view.

Situated in Madalena, PIX Apartments provides accommodation with free WiFi, a flat-screen TV and a kitchenette. There is a seating and a dining area in all units. The owner was very friendly and even upgraded us without request to a bigger room with an amazing view! She also had handy recommendations for dinner that were delicious!

Alma do Pico - Nature Residence has an outdoor swimming pool with stunning views over Faial Island and the surroundings. The unit is in Pico Island and has views over the famed Pico Mountain. Nice and super helpful staff is the biggest advantage of this place. In second place is closeness to nature and great care for it. Simple, but very good breakfast. Nice view over Faial. The best place on Pico we've been to.
